TOP 5 Texprocess – experience, network, discuss

On Tuesday, 14th of May, the new edition of Texprocess begins. The show will be offering live presentations of a wide range of topical issues and visionary topics. Specialists in product preparation, finishing, textile logistics, internal material flows and enhancement processes will showcase their visions of the future. Also attending are suppliers of innovative sewing solutions. It is the ideal opportunity to get information, exchange experiences and ideas, discuss and network with colleagues.

The top five trends

IMPACT 4.0 – from Industry 4.0 to artificial intelligence: what already exists; what is round the corner? The discussion will focus particularly on the increasing use of artificial intelligence in, for example, the field of machine learning and Cloud technologies.

INDIVIDUALISATION – Customers want, increasingly, to be different and are always on the lookout for tailor made, personalised items. So, what’s the declared aim? Batches of 1!

AUTOMATION and DIGITALISATION OF THE ENTIRE VALUE CREATION CHAIN – From 3D product development and the integration of cutting, handling and software to predictive and remote maintenance, the interlinking of all workstations in one network or whole factories across national borders and beyond.

MICRO-FACTORIES – in Hall 4.1. – and three times over at that! In other words – one production line for clothes, one for shoes and one for the processing of technical textiles.

SUSTAINABLE PRODUCTION and SUSTAINABLE PRODUCTS – transparency, traceability, ethics and environmental protections are today’s major canons. Supported by order-driven production. Companies that stand out as ground-breaking pioneers, with innovations in sustainable textiles and new approaches to processing, will receive the show’s Innovation Award. Last, but by no means least, the Texprocess Forum offers a whole series of lectures relating to sustainability in the textile and fashionwear industries.
