Interview with Epson
New exhibitor at Texprocess, Epson Deutschland, will be showcasing its solutions for printing on textiles, including its dye-sublimation and direct printing techniques. A well-known designer will be with them on their stand. Interview with Frank Schenk, Head of ProGraphics and Industrial Printing, Epson.
1) In your opinion, what are the most important trends on the market?
It is our first time at the trade fair Texprocess, and therefore, it is not easy to answer this question explicitly. We would like to introduce Epson as a solution provider for digital print solutions for textiles. That is why we show our wide-ranging offer of printing machines for textiles in hall 4 on exhibition stand 0D85.
2) What kind of innovations do you expect to see at Texprocess? What do you generally expect from Texprocess?
For the first time, Epson shows different solutions for textile printing on its own stand at the Texprocess fair. Interested visitors will find solutions for the dye sublimation printing, as well as for textile direct printing, on our exhibition stand in hall 4.0 D85. Next to our booth, the Deutsche Modeinstitut can be found. For a very long time now, we are working together with the Deutsche Modeinstitut in the area of textile proofing.
3) What can visitors expect from the fair booth of Epson and the Deutsche Modeinstitut? What kind of topics is being covered, or which speakers can be heard?
In cooperation with the Deutsche Modeinstitut and the well-known fashion label Basler, Epson is going to present an entire working process – starting from the design of a garment up to the finalised print on actual textiles. We would like to show our visitors the variety of a workflow, based on reliable colour-printouts, and furthermore, we would like to show the possibilities that modern digital printing technologies offer today. And last but not least, how several processes are being simplified thanks to it.
